Seth Riley spoke on the importance of the new wildlife crossing over the 101 freeway

Synopsis: Riley was featured in a KPCC segment on a new wildlife crossing over the 101 freeway. Experts are hopeful that the crossing will help restitch an ecosystem that has largely been severed by the freeway and bring back bobcat, coyote, and mountain lion populations.  

UCLA News: Riley explained the goals of this intricate project. “The mountain lions get the most attention, … But they’re also the most at risk because it’s the smallest population. But really our goal is to reconnect the whole natural systems from the Santa Monicas to the areas to the north,”
