Information Analyst
Rachel Singleton (she/her) is an Information Analyst for the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge. She is the main contributor to SLAGC’s biweekly intelligence briefing, The Catalyst. Rachel also works to develop and expand SLAGC’s faculty directory and internal library of keyword terms, which are used to relate and align records within the SLAGC’s database. These efforts allow SLAGC to better support UCLA faculty in their research enterprise.
Rachel is currently pursuing a doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through her past experiences, she has developed a keen interest in policy writing on a corporate level as informed by her engineering background. For her thesis research, Rachel investigates how to incorporate sustainability practices in businesses and corporations across the globe.
