UCLA News: Hunnes discussed her take on plant based foods in both articles.  

Discover: “If people were willing and able to reduce their meat and dairy intake by half, it would have a huge impact. We would probably save a third of the water and land we use, and we could feed more people.” 

The Hill: “Now, what if I told you it’s possible to be healthier and be part of the climate solution all at once? All you need is a diet based on whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and nuts, seeds and legumes — one that is limited in ultra-processed foods, sugar, salt and animal products.”
