Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (SLA GC-URSP)
The Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Undergraduate Research Scholars Program (SLA GC-URSP) is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 course. SLA GC-URSP is a year-long course for undergraduates looking to gain experience in sustainability research and contribute to the goals of the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge: 100% renewable energy, 100% local water, and enhanced ecosystem health by 2050.
The Undergraduate Research Scholars Program was first offered by UCLA Grand Challenges in 2014-15. The course is open to students who will be in their 2nd and 3rd years during the year in which the course is offered. The course is offered for two units each quarter, with P/NP in the Fall and letter grades in the Winter and Spring quarters. Additionally, each student will register for two units of SRP99 each quarter (P/NP). All majors are encouraged to apply!

Students may apply to be SLA GC-URSP scholars (must be a 2nd or 3rd year in Fall of the year in which the course takes place) or project consultants (must be a 4th year or above in Fall of the year in which the course takes place).
