Synopsis: The L.A. storm season – with a major increase of rain and snow precipitation in the region – is resulting in an uptick of common symptoms of seasonal affective disorder, a form of depression related to a change in seasons.
UCLA News: “It’s a lot of wanting to sleep more, having difficulty getting out of bed,” Kuzava said. “[People are] feeling like something is hanging over their head — because it is.”
