Synopsis: Cuff wrote that over the past two decades, along with her colleagues at cityLAB — the urban-design research center at UCLA — she’s been finding and implementing solutions to the suburban sprawl of southern California.
UCLA News: “Can corner plots provide public amenities such as seating, shaded bus stops or mini libraries? Can alleys include solar power, water-permeable surfaces and shared parking? These are the sorts of questions that must be asked,” she wrote.
