This is a critical question facing the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) as the utility aims to transition to renewable energy equitably. A new UCLA tool, built through the university's partnership with LADWP, illustrates potential savings across household types and upgrade scenarios.
More than 40 scholars contributed their expertise to the independent commission, which issued its final recommendations today.
