Peter Kareiva, director of UCLA’s Institute for the Environment and Sustainability, was extensively quoted in a USA Today article that highlighted the results of a survey showing that a majority of Americans want to reduce the effects of climate change and support a variety of solutions to the problem.
“The data say–robustly–that Republicans and Democrats agree that climate change is a problem and that we have to do something about it,” Kareiva said.
