UCLA researchers part of team awarded $9 million to provide local renewable energy to San Gabriel Valley residents

UCLA’s California Center for Sustainable Communities (CCSC) is part of a research team that was awarded a $9 million California Energy Commission grant for the development of an innovative renewable energy access project in the San Gabriel Valley.

The Bassett-Avocado Advanced Energy Community Project will provide local renewable energy and shared economic benefits to Angelenos living in disadvantaged communities.
