Natascha Chtena, a Doctoral Candidate in Information Studies at UCLA, discusses the simple ways in which students emerging into the workforce can reduce carbon emissions in their daily life. Some pieces of advice include assessing research and conference travel to avoid unnecessary commutes, saving energy with popular electronics, and reducing paper use with both written assignments and purchasing textbooks.
