A study conducted by Suzanne Paulson (Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences) indicates that roughly a quarter of Angelenos are exposed to noxious plumes of freeway fumes almost every morning – far more people than previously believed.
