Op-Ed: Provincial feuding over Measure M will make traffic and mobility worse for everyone

In an opinion piece, Ethan Elkind (Director of UCLA’s Climate Change and Business Program) expresses his concern that Measure M—which would use a sales tax increase to help fund transportation expansion and improvement throughout Los Angeles—is deepening divides between L.A. communities. “L.A.’s success as a metropolis lives and dies by its ability to function as a whole, rather than a collection of isolated, feuding cities,” he writes.
