Mark Gold commends California voters for upholding plastic bag ban

On November 8th Californians voted yes on Proposition 67 and no on Proposition 65 to affirm the plastic bag ban, acting in the interests of environmental groups, grocers, and unions. Mark Gold, Associate Vice Chancellor for Environment and Sustainability at UCLA, called the propositions “intentionally confusing,” and commended Californian voters on their informed decision-making.
