
On Saturday, September 10, the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation and the Friends of the Los Angeles River unveiled the L.A. River Greenway Guide, a celebration of successful efforts to revitalize the L.A. River and a resource for communities seeking to emulate these projects. According to J.R. DeShazo, director of the Luskin Center for Innovation, the guide will facilitate further improvements to the river greenway by allowing communities to learn from the successes and failures of previous improvement projects.
