Eric Hoek (Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) and Madelyn Glickfeld (Institute of the Environment and Sustainability) served as panelists on the UCLA-Zócalo “Thinking L.A.” panel, discussing whether engineering solutions can carry California through its drought.
